Well, it's been almost a month since I returned from Germany, and I still haven't finished that final blog I promised. Don't worry; I haven't forgotten. In fact, my sister, May, has reminded me a few times. =)
A few updates before I get back to my mounds of reading and paper writing:
1. I finally applied to the Jackson School of International Studies last Friday (for my International Studies major). I'm anxious to hear back as it's one of the more competitive schools at UW.
2. I am still keeping busy with the UW Dream Project and two more involvements this year with Making Connections (serving as Scholarship Coach) and the Gates Millennium Scholars Association at the UW (GMSA-UW).
3. I'm launching a new scholarship resource website in early November.
Anyway, I don't know when I'll actually have free time again, but I am aiming to finish the final blog before Thanksgiving.
Until next time,
Sam
